Hibachi Hustle

Hibachi Hustle was developed by a team of nine for our junior-level course IM 389. The game aimed to simulate the experience of a hibachi chef with visual flair and a tight timer.

I was the game's lead programmer, and I developed many of the core systems, including the spatula functionality and visual indicators, the grill, and most of the logic behind the three ingredient minigames. It gave me further experience in structuring a game and connecting its systems, which I did utilizing strategies such as inheritance. Additionally, I was involved in task delegation for the programming team and participated in design discussions. Communication and accessibility were my biggest strengths on this project; my teammates knew they could rely on me in those crucial areas.
